While with the circus, Cezar made his way as a Somnambulist, performing amazing feats while under the influence of hypnosis. Upon escaping the sideshow he, along with many of his former co-stars, accustomed to the roar of the crowds and glare of the spotlight, looked to the Arena as a logical new home.
