It is often joked that an Estian ranger never met a clump of moss he wouldn't wear. Perhaps the saying is in reference to the fact that all Estian ranger armor looks like it was fashioned from bits and pieces of the swamplands themselves, or perhaps it refers to the fact that Estian ranger armor is actually designed with tiny hooks and barbs in order to better secure natural foliage to camouflage the wearer. Perhaps the saying refers to both, but it is certain that Estian ranger armor is neither pretty, nor made to be. You will never tell the rank of an Estian ranger by looks alone, as every piece is made to look exactly alike. Due to the phantom-like ability of Estian rangers to disappear into their natural terrain and re-emerge elsewhere rapidly, it is impossible for invaders to determine if they are being tracked by one ranger or one hundred...
