Though the Silvintri keep a strong contingent of knights for the policing of their kingdom and handling skirmishes with outsiders, the High Druids and Arch-Druids represent the core of Silvintri's power. As they are slow to anger and even slower to rouse, they prefer to avoid direct conflict and instead manipulate the world stage from behind the curtains, so to speak. The only known time that the Druids have ever gone to war was when Lord Draeth brought it to them - the Druids quickly entered into the Grand Alliance that eventually saw to the Dark Lord's destruction. Despite the Light Brotherhood garnering much of the credit and glory for the victory, none would deny that the aid of the Druids was crucial to winning the war.
