Ivon's life as a duelist was one riddled with unfortunate accidents. He believed he was cursed by the gods, when actually it was very bad luck. One day when passing through the forest, he noticed a sprite flying around and decided to catch it. Unfortunately for Ivon the sprite waved her magic wand and turned him into a turtle. After Ivon realized how slow life was as a turtle, he had a revelation. What if he could turn his arena opponents into turtles? He knew this was his only chance to actually win. So he pleaded with the sprite to teach him how to turn people into turtles. In exchange, she made him promise never to try to catch a sprite again or he would be forever turned into a turtle.

"Unfortunately if you're are a sprite I cannot catch you, if not you're fair game!"
