Jery used to be a Seeker--one of those elite warrior-scouts sent out through the gateways to discover new talent and new worlds. Unfortunately, he had gone native, as they say, in a place called Las Vegas. When he was finally tracked down, he was working for someone called Sammy the Vig and seemed quite content in his new line of employment. It took five fellow Seekers to drag him back to Phyrra where he was given a choice of exile into the Karthian Wastelands or become a duelist. He chose, naturally, to become a duelist--and a feared one at that. It goes without saying that Seekers are well trained. An ex-Seeker with a grudge...well, that's a whole other level of deadly.
