On the high seas, Karuta Rahn was known as the "Ironclad Scourge of the Sea", often blinding his opponents with his glistening armor. His pure brute force was a challenge for anyone. He was even said to have taken down a Kraken with nothing but his gauntlets. Prior to being a pirate in the Kronish gang, he was an accomplished lancer in the cavalry division. Believing the best defense is one that is immovable and impenetrable, his tactics leant well to piracy on the seas. Even his ship was a battle hardened vessel of destruction, with which he commanded the respect of anyone in the ocean.
