Martin was not a very nice boy, the only thing Martin liked more than hurting people was people hurting him back. Clearly the life of a gladiator was the only one for him. His reputation was secured in his first battle: After Path Sweeper Arias had beaten Martin to a bloody pulp on the ground, Martin staggered to his feet with a wide grin on his face. He plunged his knife into his eye and fell over again, laughing hysterically. Consequently Martin accepts all challenges, the tougher the better.
