As a staff master, Merick teaches the local school children how to wield the staff for the good of humanity. The training is paired along with meaningful life lessons. Over the years Merick has enjoyed teaching others the value of using the staff for good. Whether it is beating down a bandit in the streets or merely using it as a handle to rescue children from wells. He believes his staff to be a symbolic item that represents the hope to better humanity. This hope is what drives him to continue his mission for past half century.
