Abandoned and left to die.
That's how she was found by Agrona, Queen of War and Death. Not sure how to raise the child, Agrona placed the child in the Den of a mother Wolf.
In the years after The Child grew up to be raised by a wolf and taught by the Queen of the Dark.

In time her Pack died and so did her Teacher. The Child, now a young Woman known as Night of the Wolfs, left the place where she's always lived, and roamed the forest, fighting every living soul she came across.
