As a mage in the Sahar Academy of Arcane Study, Paract had always enjoyed reading books from the library there. After reading hundreds of books, he came across one named "Simplifying Life". This book was all about learning how to delegate tasks to others in order to achieve an overall goal. The first chapter explained how to get quality subjects. It listed everything from goblins to sprites to gremlins. Paract had remembered there were plenty of gremlins who lived out in the dunes. So he traveled out there and tried to hire them to work for him. All they wanted was armor so they could salvage to make other things. So they made a deal, work for him and they could steal as many armor pieces as they wanted. Paract thought the arena would be the best way to make money with his newfound friends. It was a win-win situation, money and fame for him and materials for them.
