Practicing the arcane arts is a dangerous job and Raton knew that when he signed up. Archmage Tasako takes nothing but the best as his apprentices. Knowing that, Raton had to do whatever it took to improve his arcane skills. He practiced day and night trying to improve the magic he had learned. One afternoon while practicing his magic underground, he noticed something strange happening deep in the dungeons, the energy was being drained out of a captive prisoner by Archmage Delrag. Raton came out of the shadows and asked Delrag how to perform the spell, Delrag gladly showed him. Raton became Delrag’s understudy without Tasako knowing. Over time Raton learned the dark arts from Delrag. Now he practices his new abilities in the arena, far away from Tasako.
