After Reagan's departure from office, I was minding my own business without the government being a nanny "for my own good". Watched the Clinton years with dismay but held-on after seeing the Republicans rise to continue Reagan's legacy of less taxes, smaller government and welfare reform (which Clinton took credit for). GW was abig government Republican :(

What the heck with Obama's "spendulus"? Spending prolonged the Great Depression, didn't work for Japan's lost decade (90's and still continuing) and will not work now. Plus we are leaving tons of debt to our children. This spending will become a new baseline.
