Aangelorans have always known of the Beast. They fear the Beast. Mother scare their git with tales of the Beast eating errant children, never to be seen again. Every seven years, the Beast rises. Every seven years, the Beast thirsts for blood. But it is no Beast in its mind, but rather a warrior, a survivor. The Beast of Aangeloras was in danger of capture due to a shrinking world. More roads and more races meant less ways to stay hidden. Rather than wait to be hunted like the Beast it knew it appeared to be, it came forth when the first arena fights were opened, taking advantage of the amnesty offered to 'alien' races. Although once human, the Beast doesn't correct anyone, and no one seems too interested to know the truth under the matted hair, bony ridges, and scaly folds. But it also no longer sees the need to wait seven years to feed...
