The Golden Knight is either a pompous ass or a great champion. It all depends on your perspective. Knighted for bravery in battle by the Aseti emperor, The Golden Knight is a typical royal snob, or a complete gentleman, again depending on your point of view. He doesn't suffer fools gladly and, in his opinion, most people (outside of his circle) are fools. His supporters say, it's just his way of staying sharp. One must surround himself with equals or betters to remain true to oneself. Being a knight, he has an image to maintain...chivalry and honor and all that good stuff. Ask most of his dueling opponents and you'll hear, "He's good, but he's also a complete twit." Jealousy and envy, that's all they have, say the Knight's fans. Either way, be prepared to be insulted or tolerated as you fight this armored snob.
