They say a blind man is useless in most martial endeavors. Few could say that about Zortana. Though blind from birth and nearly cast out of his Karthian tribe at an early age, he learned to compensate for his disability through the development of an almost super-human sense of awareness. Most early opponents laughed at him, adding a win in their dueling record even before stepping into the Arena. The only one laughing in the end was Zortana. He simply couldn't be hit and his staff always found its mark. A true legend.
